The Journey Behind Dholakbajaa

Some dreams are spoken. Others are lived.

While pursuing his MBA, Rohan Kumar Sahoo was the one student who confidently said, "One day, I will build my own business." At a time when most of his classmates were focused on securing jobs, he was already dreaming of creating something meaningful and lasting.

After completing his MBA, he spent nearly five years gaining valuable corporate experience, learning leadership, strategic planning, customer service, and business operations. Yet, despite a successful professional career, his entrepreneurial dream never faded.

In 2016, he took a bold step and founded Dholakbajaa in Cuttack—at a time when professional event management was still a relatively new concept in a Tier-2 city. Starting with a small team, limited resources, and an unwavering vision, he worked tirelessly to earn the trust of every client.

Today, Dholakbajaa has become one of Odisha's trusted names in event management, wedding entertainment, and décor services, successfully delivering memorable weddings, corporate events, cultural celebrations, and private functions across Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Puri, and many other parts of Odisha.

His journey is a testament to the power of vision, perseverance, innovation, and the courage to take risks. It proves that when passion meets dedication, a dream can evolve into a trusted brand that creates unforgettable experiences for thousands of people.
